The husband of an online friend wrote it a few years back but hasn't been updating lately. Setting it up at first was a bit confusing because he was off working on other stuff and not as responsive as normal to questions. The client software runs on my desktop and uploads posts via built-in FTP. I can post remotely via email as long as I keep the client running at home. It will automatically check for new messages at whatever interval I tell it and post anything new in the same script.<BR/><BR/>As for my several years' worth of posts on Blogger, he was still working on a script to carry those over but hadn't yet gotten all the bugs worked out. I've left them there and just pointed my archive links to the Blogger pages for those months.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7870601.post-55307028403189865332008-10-07T12:11:00.000-04:002008-10-07T12:11:00.000-04:00I'm using wordpress over on www.illuminated-editin...I'm using wordpress over on www.illuminated-editing.com . It seems pretty nice, although I find it's one more step to get to the posting screen (site admin, then post), then, say LJ (post is always at the top). It also is apparently easy to customize, although we just dropped a template in (I say, "we" because my hosting buddy actually did it). That's about all I know, though. Honestly, I'm very glad I switched to LJ for my personal blogging, although it's not the best for biz blogging, I think.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
